The storyboard for my music video

Before I started filming for my music video, I produced a storyboard which I followed .his was the storyboard I used before I made my first draft:

For the first shot I wanted to have Randolph appear against a cargo box, then every laugh another clone of him would appear next to him, there are 6 laughs in total, so there will be 6 Randolphs by the end of the 6 laughs. The reason I have chosen to start with this shot, is because no words are being said at this time, so I want to have a shot of something which matches the beat of the intro, so therefore this would work. Furthermore it will look different and interesting to see this of the same people, so it should attract the viewers attention.

For the next shot I want to change the background to a more vivid background, so I will most likely use a yellow box as the background with Randolph saying the first few words of the song. The reason I have chosen this is because it the background would have changed from a dark green cargo box, to a bright yellow one, which will be an obvious background change to show that the shots are from different times in his life.

The next shot I will have Randolph walking towards the camera, with a wall (with graffiti on it) behind him. This bit should fill up the part of the song before the lyrics start, and it will show the audience that he is approaching the camera ready to start.

I will then have Randolph in a new location, probably another wall with graffiti on it but, a close up on his face singing the start of the song, I also will have the lyrics written across the screen in big white bold text.

I will then have Randolph standing still in the middle and I will circle around him, with him looking down at the camera.

Then I will go back to the shot which has Randolph against the wall, singing the next few lyrics.

Then I will show a clip of Randolph emptying a bag of skittles on the floor to match the lyrics "skittles in ma back pack"

I will also have a shot, where the camera will be on the floor, and I will have Randolph walking away, taking each step with the beat of the song.

Then I will return to another shot of Randolph singing but in a different destination.

I will then have Randolph sat on cargo box saying a few more lyrics, but with a different posture.

I will also try and include a narrative part here about Randolph's lifestyle, so maybe him sat editing music.

Then I will return to Randolph sat on the cargo box but in a different position.

I will then have another shot of Randolph doing something from his life, so maybe gambling.

I will then go back to Randolph sitting on the cargo box for the last time, but on another different position.

Then I will show randolph looking in a mirror, and the reflection will have his hood up, to symbolise that he has changed as a person over time.

Then I will go back to Randolph singing at the graffiti wall.

I will also show a shot here, of leaves falling from sky, but have them drop to the rhythm of the song.

The song should now be ending, so I will have a shot of the artist, fading away.
